My serious side…

During the first 2 decades of my life, I suffered from poverty, abandonment, rejection, neglect, betrayal, sexual molestation, and other forms of physical, emotional, and verbal abuse. This suffering was within the framework of broken homes and foster homes. A teenage pregnancy,  an abusive marriage, a divorce, as well as, close relationships with people in the depths of mental illness and addiction also played a role in my life.

My experiences resulted in insecurity, low self-esteem, guilt, shame, fear, and grief. I also started having severe physical health challenges. Many times I cried out to God to either help me or take me.

I am here to testify that God still heals. I recognized early in my Christian life that I needed supernatural healing and restoration. I yielded to the process and God delivered and continues to deliver.

I am still “a work in progress” and praise God that I am continually being transformed.

It is my passion to help others experience health and abundant life through inner healing that often results from prayer, oil anointing, and Truth.

My training…

I believe that obedience to scripture and guidance from the Holy Spirit is far more valuable than any education and training that I have received. The disciples learned what to do by following Jesus’ example. We are called to do the same. “Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.” John 14:12

I’ve facilitated several healing classes. I’ve also had ministry training, leadership training, and small group training in a major church that believes and bears witness that God still heals.

I have been trained and educated in using Young Living therapeutic grade essential oils for health benefits. I often give classes on their uses and advantages.

I have partnered with a holistic RN doing essential oil anointing since 2008.

I have found that incorporating prayer, essential oil anointing, and scripture expedites healing in all areas of life.

My lighter side…

I often say that I was born in the wrong era. I would have loved to live during the Victorian age when ball gowns, knights, and carriages were in vogue.

I love to read, especially historical romance and information regarding natural holistic health modalities (no big surprise).

I also enjoy playing Scrabble and watching HGTV and classic movies.

I have been married to my “knight in shining armor” since 1983, and we have 3 grown children with whom I enjoy cooking, going to the movies, and playing board games.
